Re: CNC Router Chatter
My guy says the same as stated above. It can happen on hard granites, and slowing the machine down will help a lot. Easier to fix it at your shop, then on site. Now that you know about it, check them before they ship. we go back and forth between doing final polish by hand vs using the cnc to do it ...

Re: Granite Warranty
I googled "granite warranty" back when I did mine. Got plenty of info. And realized there basically wasn't a warranty in the way a customer would expect it to be. "repair or replace at manufacturers option". (glue it back together?) Only replace the area effected. (seam a darker replacement baltic b...

Tell him wayne in Tx gave you the number. If you need parts, he will be the guy to go to. He should answer questions about parts availability as well as reliability of the machine itself.

Re: Septic service for pit clean out?
I have a three tank system. Water fills then over flows into the next tank, then the next. This created a situation where the heaviest dust settles in the first tank, and lighter in the next, and even lighter in the next. I bet the first tank wont work with a septic pump, but the other two would be v...

I'm late on this, but no comparison between romneycare and obama care. reason being: I can fire my Governor a lot easier than firing my president. The country was being run by Pelosi in San Fran and there wasn't a dang thing I could do about it. I didn't vote her in, I can't vote her out. Its redicu...

What exactly is the problem? If 2cm granite won't work, explain the 100,000's of houses with formica glued to 3/4" plywood. What am i missing?

Re: CNC Life Expentency
What I have seen is growth in size. If ten years ago you did one top at a time and today you can load up 5 tops on the same cycle, you have to look at the productivity from that. I bought the big one from Park, now they have a bigger one. lol. I'm new to cnc (about 18 months) so I don't have real in...

I think the answer is no cause of touch screen capability. Maybe a click of the mouse will do the same thing. Not sure.

Re: Park Prodege or similar machine questions
combining a flat and curve is not as productive with these machine. We used a true "half" bullnose when we were running them. We pushed this edge since the arm only had to move 90degress (vs 180 degrees for a full bullnose). i would guess we produced 5,000 kitchens with this set up. The edge quality...

Fernando is dead on. i drew it up on cad and the differece is 7/32", just shy of a 1/4. If you can kick each edge out by that, you are good.

Re: Sink Fiasco
ok. I had it backwards. Still a small variance. We always reconifigure our um cutouts to overhang the granite past the rim so it gives us some flexibility.
reshape the hole, making it bigger, thus showing more reveal of the rim?

Re: Car Guys: need Help
Definately change the spark plugs. Fuel filter also. i've found that spark plugs start widening their gap after 70,000 miles. The gap gets too wide, the spark can't make the jump and results in missfires. Every missfire means that bit of gas is burned in the cat rather than the cylinder- so you have...

Re: What do you know about STAINLESS STEEL SINKS?
Let me add another comment and this relates to Chinese manufacturing. It seems (to me) that the switch to chinese goods has been so fast so quick that I doubt the systems have been put into place quick enough to assure reliable safe products. While this may not be an issue with sinks, we have seen m...

True stainless steel doesnt stick to a magnet. If it does, then it can rust.
This is something i read years ago. Is there truth to this? You stated cheaper sinks will not rust.
