Selling our sawjet located in Minneapolis, Minnesota. It is a 2015 Northwood SJ270-S. It’s a excellent machine purchased used by us at the end of 2018. Re: Spindle Rebuild Issues - Please weigh in
I think its funny that so many here go straight to assuming that whenever there is an issue its related to choosing the lowest bid. In my case with the spindle it certainly wasn't the case. This company has been around rebuilding spindles for far longer than Northwood has been rebuilding in house. C...

Spindle Rebuild Issues - Please weigh in
Hey Guys, Looking for a little advice..... My NW had its Umbra belt driven spindle rebuilt about 8 months ago for the first time. It lasted a little over 4 years from the factory new. I sent the spindle away to a company that had done a prior rebuild for me (flawlessly, btw) on an electrospindle. Th...

Re: CMS 2004 Maxima Funac Control Issue
Hey Joe, I'm guessing it auto-corrected Fanuc. I'm also guessing your tech recommended it however I figured I'd waste your time. The Servo drives all have fans on the top. On our Northwood they also have some fans on the outside of the main cabinet. Have you verified that they are all spinning? Have...

Hey ken,
Start by checking the Parker valves. Up top in the box and down below front right. I don’t think anything would freeze...prob just went out. Look for the red light when you hit the red button!

Job is going for several months so borrowing is not an option  Anyone have a set that's not too beat laying around that they wouldn't mind selling? With or W/O p...

I would test the 24v inverter if the screen is blinking. They tend to go bad. I've replaced them on two of my cncs.
Without knowing what code this would be my guess. Good luck!

Replacing our 126 to add a new cnc. We are buying a new one for the tax credit(please god go through). This one has been a tank for us for the last 4 years we've owned it. We processed over 2 mil a year in sales on her before we added our second cnc (also a NW). http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f22...

We moved to a new facility and the electrical inspector wouldn't let it pass because of not having a UL Listing on the machine. We ended up buying a new one to replace. Great machine. Everything operates however our guys never really got the hang of adjusting the bevelers. New white rollers and a ne...
