We have decided to sell our Sasso Flying flat. We are selling As IS. Everything on the machine works but we have been having trouble getting it to produce a quality polish. It polishes only about half or 3/4 of the stone edge. We assume it is something out of square or the oscillation is not square....

We haven't got anywhere near 1/2 way through a blade before it cant cut mitres anymore. We can still use the spent blades for straight cuts for a while. And they are $300 up here in Canada. We just went through $900 of blades for one job.

I was once told to drill some small holes in the side of the core bit to allow water to escape. I've found blowouts depend mostly on the material. Also a pod underneath helps.
