Re: Angelo Albani, RIP
I own an Omag and had one conversation with Mr.Albani. It was through an interpreter but I could tell he really cared about his company and it's reputation. He will be missed.

This is true, I've used makita for years with great success. If you have an issue with one then call or email them and they will take care of you.Mark Smith wrote:The makita var speed (12 amp) 4.5" & 5" grinder are the exact same grinder. Only difference is the blade guard diameter.

Try soft scrub or that Silestone cleaner (Kenny's might be the name).
I've done a ton of quartz and never had issues with rubber leaving marks.

Its really going to depend on which quartzite and how you are chiseling it. We use the beaver from GQ and it won't do super hard quartzites. The pitbull is a lot stronger and sounds better for this application.

I'm pretty sure that GMM, Sasso, Omag, Park, Northwood, Donatoni and many other manufacturers have them for sale. Maybe even in stock.

Re: IT IS COLD ... WHAT HEATERS ( 120 V ) ARE YALL USING ON JOBSITES ?
I don't know of an electric heater that would make a difference in a cold house. We use propane torpedo heaters indoors all the time. They are noisy but don't stink like the kerosene/diesel fuel ones. A 20lb propane tank would last 3-4 hours and heat an entire kitchen quickly. You will also need 120...

Re: The Game is Changing
I think the stone industry is unique, we manufacture a custom product not something that can be easily duplicated. Yes there are exceptions to the mass producing but those products don't affect my business. Mass producing a custom product isn't easy, the variation of material, cab sizes, edges and l...

Re: Cnc power requirements??
I'm confused, what power do you have coming in?
Electric, water and discharge (often forgotten) are all things to consider.
You might also think of the vacuum lifter, jib crane and air compressor that you might need now.

We used a local Steel shop and they had Galvanized grating that would hold 40,000lbs. It was expensive I guess but when compared to a couple slabs of stone it was cheap. And hopefully I'm done forever.

We own all three devices. We use the lt55 the most by far, accuracy has never been an issue and speed is debatable. We do standard kitchens all day. 1 or 2 tubs a year and we stick template all fhbs after the decks go in. We use the proliner for digitizing stick templates. I couldn't imagine pulling...

Re: Weha Waste Bag System for Scrap and Sludge Idea
Would love to have all of our returning gray water dump into these before going to the collection pit. Any idea of the size of the pours in the woven fabric? We tried this idea and couldn't get the water to drain fast enough with 3 bags. Plus it takes up a bunch of room. Matt Lansing has a bag syst...
