It will be a little more work but you could try a pocketing operation inside the text then engrave the perimeter.

Mark is correct. You will need to convert the jpeg using a program like Adobe Illustrator or Corel Draw. I have used both and prefer the Power Trace feature in Corel Draw. ICAM Vs. StoneCAM
I am running an Intermac Master 43 Plus using ICAM and have been doing a good amount of architectural work. I have heard that a lot of other fabricators are using StoneCAM due its interface and visualization features. Has anyone used both pieces of software? Which do you prefer and why?
