outdoor granite kitchens appropriate colors
Any list of appropriate colors for outdoor granite kitchens? Thinking about ultraviolet changes and freeze/thaw issues (northern Michigan). Or any general guidelines for color selection?

we use Silicone II from GE - get it @ HD - we go up underneath for tops to cabinet, we use dollups of it to attach splashes to walls. in the splash to countertop - we bevel our splash bottoms then use a bead of slicone on bottom and where splash seams, but not on top of splash. after we lay the bead...

thanks again for the input, Any one who has had the machine we do has already replaced it by now - its an LTEC, its painfully slow but not as painful as doing stuff by hand - IMO. Without getting too technical could someone tell me the general relationship between RPM's on a fingerbit for a hard material (i.e...red dragon, abs. black ) and cut rate. we have an ancient cnc and had to get new fingerbits made. the new ones seem to glaze up, we tried speeding up the RPM and lower...

we cut all of our cutouts in the shop from the bottom. We use a 4" makita tile saw set to the depth of 2cm - or 3cm if you do 3cm splashes - we don't do too many 3cm though. if you take a scrap piece and make a cut then stick a square in from the front you can determine your "overshoot" length. mark...

we do not rod either, and we do make in 1 piece as much as possible. Even when we do it in strips we have been using integra to glue the legs and header together in the shop, it makes the install sooooo much less of a pain.
