Re: Stonewood and Cafe Forest slabs
This is what I was afraid of. Our bridge saw doesn't have a tilt table. We use a Woods power grip to lay our slabs onto the concrete table. I am hoping this wont affect the way we do things, but I am thinking that because of the veining the woods power grip isn't going to work?

I see a lot of veining in this material and am trying to figure out how the heck I am going to fabricate these without bre...

Installing undermount sinks
Hey SFA. A little background first. We have just bought this company that has been in business for sometime now. After going out on a few installs with the previous owner/fabricators we are unsure of some of the practices and want to get some input on changes we want to make. The previous owner left...

Re: Air wet polishers
Okay great. On this topic. You say wet polishing and no dry pads is better? So instead if doing my first 4 (50,100,200,400) dry just do them in wet and continue on with my 800,1200,300 and then buff? Any recommendations on pads? We use a variety right now. Some better than others but finding we are ...

So long term the air polishers and a new compressor are going to pay off then? I'll talk to some reps on Monday and see what they have to offer.
Thanks for the info

Air wet polishers
Hey all. First time posting here. I am a fabricator for a local granite shop in Ontario Canada. We currently use Makita polishers in the shop for our wet/dry polishing. 4 pads dry last 4 wet. We are looking to switch over to a few air wet polishers. Research shows me the Barranca 2321 WR sea to be a...

Re: Look Out Makita
We use the makita polisher right now but are switching everything in the shop over to pneumatic polishers. We so the first 4 dry and then last 4 wet so water and electrical never mix well. Always getting a small shock from them even with the gcfi on them. But agree they last forever. Only thing I do...
