Most of the fabricators we come in contact with are hesitant to use any acids because of the danger of damaging a cabinet...

Re: Rough Granite Question
There are many reasons for this type of finish on slabs. Did you choose the slab at the distributor facility or the fabricator facility? The slab did not material change between the time you selected and the time that job was installed. We just dealt with this type of situation. A client purchased ...

Re: Can someone explain 3 Step polishing pads?
3 Step pads can save time but that doesn't mean they are better then a 7 step. 400-800 grit is the true polishing pads of the 7 step. 50-100-200 stage for polish and 1500-3000 buffs the polish step #1 starts to get the scratches out and props for polish step#2 polishes and acts like the 400-800 pad ...

stripper will not change the darkness of the stone.
if you want to use enhancer, you can try Akemi super Darkener, or Superior ICE, but these all leave the potential for your current problem to present itself again.

Re: polished edge looks cloudy
You can always use a color enhancer like tenax Ager. But as stated before this is a temporary fix. When polishing the edge 400grit and 800grit are the true polishing pads. Therefore take your time when polishing with those two grits.
Hope this helps!!

Quartz has hard and soft spots that is where the waves come from. Granite will always take a polishes better then Quartz.

Re: Problems with Leathered Absolute Black Granite
