The island is in the kitchen

Could the weight of someone standing on the island crack it?

One crack is on the edge in the middle area of the island- the other is on the far left side if you are facing the island and looking out. The large crack down the middle is not connected to the crack on the middle edge area
Not sure if glue was used

If someone stood on top of the island would that of cracked it.

I have an island that Is fairly large with Calcutta 3cm thick with a laminated edge. It was installed about a week ago. The granite had been covered the entire time after install - when I took the cover off I noticed a crack in the top running diagonal all the way across it. Any suggestions on how i...
