Re: Losing Connection
There are some Windows issues that could affect timing. I am not currently aware of any at the moment that are persisting. A big thing is to check if your tablet has any pending Windows Updates. If they were installing while templating, that could cause issues as they cause a big hit to the CPU perf...

The best, next step would be for you to have Aaron Alexander work with you on this. When you have a moment, call into our office (630-679-1300) and speak with Alex and she can set up a time between you and Aaron to try to get to the bottom of this.

Re: Consistently bad measurements from my LT-2D3D (but only when I use it)
If your other templator has no problems when they take over for you I would look at what your hand is doing during the measurement. When you move the laser beam to the next point, do you remove your hand from the laser and then take the measurement or do you keep your hand on it? If you hand is on i...

The first thing that comes to mind is moisture damage. I installed Slabsmith in one location that was about 15 feet from a water jet and I was extremely concerned about moisture coming off of it.

Re: LT 2d3d printing help
That’s what we are here for. Quick thought, you may want to try to first make sure there are no pending Windows updates. Then restart the tablet. Finally, if that doesn’t work, try uninstalling and reinstalling the printer. There have been a lot of Windows Updates thathave caused issues lately. It w...

Re: LT 2d3d printing help
Our software would not have changed print settings. If you are seeing your printer offline, there is a issue connecting to it via your Wi-Fi network. That is kind of out of the scope of our product but our support team would be glad to help troubleshoot it tomorrow morning. Call in and give Jared a ...

Re: LT 2d3d use in cold temps
Like all electronic equipment, we are affected by extreme temperatures. Luckily with the cold, we are a little more tolerant as the tablet and laser generate heat. Battery drain is the big concern with cold temperatures. As long as the laser and tablet are warm when you begin, you should be able to ...

Re: Leica BLK360
It is a very interesting device and I am not saying this because it could potentially be seen as a competitor of ours, I am trying to say this this from a neutral standpoint. The BLK360 is not meant for the granite industry. The BLK360 collects a lot of data. When I say a lot, I mean A LOT. Taken fr...

Like Andy said... 1. Open the LT software 2. Change the colors to what you want 3. Exit the LT software 4. Reopen the LT Software and start your job The color profile is carried with the .l55 file so that if you were to have different settings between the tablet and an office computer, there is no c...

Re: LT55 Software questions?
The software can be downloaded from our website. You will need to speak with our support team to obtain a license key for it. The easiest way is to give them a call (630-679-1300, ask for John or Jared) and they can remotely set everything up for you in about two minutes. The tablet is never connect...

Re: Auto Fillet
If he is using Auto Fillet, he should only be hitting two points per wall/cabinet face. If he is going to scribe the back wall, Auto Fillet should not be used on the walls. Generally, the way to use Auto Fillet would be to at the beginning of the job, click Auto Fillet, measure two points on each ca...

Auto Fillet is only active if you click on it in the side menu. If you are using it and want to end the process, there are two options in the bottom left; Open and Close. Open will leave the drawing as is. Close will close the object by connecting the first measurement taken with the last measuremen...

Re: LT 2d3d charging issue
Like Mike said, because it uses magnetic to hold the charging plug in, it could be attached to it but not actually seated into the charging receptacle. Give it a wiggle and that should take care of it. Beyond that, if it is seated properly, it might be a bad power adapter. If it is under a year old ...

Re: Strange out of Square occurance LT2D/3D
This has to do with the programming language used to write the software. When C# is used, there are three basic types of numbers. Float, Double, and Decimal. Each one represents a number but they each carry varying precision. For example: float: 0.3333333 double: 0.333333333333333 decimal: 0.3333333...

Re: Please Critique My Templating Time
The LT-2D3D is +/- 1/16" (1.5mm), the Proliner is =/- 1mm I cannot speak for the Proliner as I have not used one myself but although both systems are =/-, that is the maximum variance between the same point being taken multiple times. As a test, I would suggest pointing the laser at a wall or cabine...

Re: Please Critique My Templating Time
Seeing as your measurements are that far off, I would suggest calling the salesmen in your area (Ohio is Matt Thomson who lives in Columbus). Matt might be able to stop by and take a look to see if there is something wrong with the laser or tripod because it shouldn't be getting measurements that fa...
