Re: Top Polishing ES
That shot looks ok but I can still see the repaired area. Remember walls are best for hiding stuff and windows are not.
Imagine if that was a Island top and the repair was in the middle!
Would it still fly Mark? If so more pics would be good.
Cheers

Re: Building boats have you got plans ?
Dave I've been very busy and haven't made much progress. So it's not finished yet.
Busy and the fact my Dad asked me 1 question which meant modifying the transom.
he saved me some major embarrassment with that 1.
Hope to top coat the inside this week.

Cheers Nick I'm not sure. Ask anyone that has built a boat and they will say the same. You tend to start throwing away receipts once you realize you could have just brought 1 for less. I think it will come in around 3k but for me I just had to get it out of my system. Very glad it was not 26fo...

Re: Soft Quartz/ Rubber Scratching
If you are referring to diamond stone then your problem is not the work tables.
The gloss is so high that it scratches very very easily.
Maybe try a protective film to cover the slab.

Chris it hasn't taken much time as its not big. Also it works well doing it at work as because the glue takes like 24hrs to cure you can only do a little bit at a time. I must admit though that I'm a freaken meat head for 1 thinking the kids would help and 2 starting it just before my crazy season h...
