Like Liquid Nails? Probably not the best choice - it is oily and could stain if the back of the stone was not resined.Shiny Alex wrote: and squirted construction adhesive underneath.

Re: Cry for HELP!! Kitchen faucet hole in wrong place??
In defence of the fabricator on the charge of "miscommunication" here: When he said both the sink and faucet would be centred on the cabinet, he might not have been aware that it were to have been a 70/30 sink and answered under the presumption that it would be a 50/50 or single bowl. In both of whi...

Re: Cry for HELP!! Kitchen faucet hole in wrong place??
Those sinks typically have the faucet installed on the divider, not the centre of the sink. From your photos it appear as though the faucet was placed correctly for that specific sink design. Your sink cut-out is also correctly centered on the cabinet. On equal bowl or single bowl sinks it is more t...

Re: Oil stain in marble
I have always had good luck with Comet with bleach ... Bleach is not always a good idea on marbles. It is an aggressive oxidizing agent and may cause or encourage yellowing and/or rusting in some marbles with iron and/or sulphur present in the stone. Stones like Carrara, Calacutta, some Onyxes or T...

Re: Plop-N-Run
I was at three-quarters of a day as it was; they didn’t have the budget for that. That is probably what irks me most about the state of the stone industry now. Some people expect a brand new Mercedes Benz when they only have the budget for a used TATA Mobile. The stone in those pictures needed a lo...

Digital shops in Canada?
We are looking for a fab shop (anywhere) in Canada willing to show us the hows and wherefores of going digital. We are serious about the anywhere (Canadian) part. We need a break anyway Our plans are to expand our shop to a 2-3 kitchen a day operation able to cover the north end of Vancouver Island....
