well after a week of having my new crew the shop foreman has totally cleaned up the shop and organized everything i no the saying they all come out of the gate strong for a couple of weeks i guess we will see but as it stands so far so good.

Thought i would let every one know a little elbow grease and some paint thinner got the paint marks finally out it took me about an hour and a half and a scotch bright pad.......

Honed black granite
We were laying the job out with those white paint pens on some black honed granite, for the life of me we cannot get the white pen marks to come off the granite.weve tried acetone,paint thinner wet rags,the marks will not come off.
does any one have any suggestions?

Has any one heard of the tomahawk stone splitter its a type of press that makes driveway pavers, backsplash etc. out of granite scraps.
I thought of purchasing one and seeing if theres much of a market for those types of things.

3cm granite backsplash
Can anyone help me out Im doing a 3cm granite backspalsh do i install the countertop first then the backsplash or vise versa.how do you get the backsplash to fit tight under the upper cabinets?

Well i went back and cut 2 inch strips roughed them up cleaned them up used epoxy and BAM worked great .

Its the accelerator that you use in those super glues.Bellinzoni is an absorbing paste that works great.

are you a fabricator? Not that it matters but if you are honest about your experiance and skillset you can be better aided. ;) I own a small granite shop that deals in prefab 2cm granite we sometimes run into issues. one being cracks in granite thats why Im asking If any one out there new something...
