Re: Home Owner Nightmare.
That is what I am finding. It is unfortunate that there is no avenue to protect the consumer and or to grade a prospective contractor. They post a few alliances on their website and as a consumer you believe you are hiring someone with standards practiced in the trade. I am coming to this sad reali...

Re: Home Owner Nightmare.
I'm not an official SFA member so take what I'm saying as unbiased opinion. How can the SFA do anything about one of their members if they don't even know who you're talking about? Also, being an SFA member doesn't mean that there is some panel of judges that you answer to. At the end of the day, th...

Re: 2D/3D splashbacks incorrect measurements
I’m having issues with splashbacks templating, every time measurements are too loon from 2mm to 5mm, even if I templating flat surfaces like kitchen worktops, measurements are often 1-2mm too long than in fact. I own 1 year old 2D/3D, always update the software, all procedures carry out as recommen...

Fireplace Surround with Makalu Bay Material
Hello! This is my first post on the forum. I will be joining the SFA soon. In the mean time I'm wanting your opinions on this fireplace surround. My gut is telling me the granite will not hold up to the radiant heat for this cast iron stove. I've been in the natural stone industry for 3 years now an...

Re: Consistently bad measurements from my LT-2D3D (but only when I use it)
Did you find a solution to the problem? If not, a few things that have helped me over the year I've been templating with the 2D3D are: -make sure that you have stillness in the floor. If you can feel movement in the floor from people working/walking around kindly ask them to leave for the few minute...
