Methacrylate has advantages but I can’t say it is better. Activator and the inability to form it to an edge make It my second choice. I've had this happen to me on a few random occasions using the CLEAR fill. Once I hit it with the UV light, it will start to turn a bluish grey, sometimes a cloudy black.
