My time has come

As of May 1st I will no longer be the Trade Show Director. However, I will be an active part of the trade show committee and of this great organization. The BOD met last year and it was decided that in 2016 we would replace 3 members of the board. Since I am the longest sitting director currently on the board it only makes sense for me to be one of the first three to step down.
We have had a wild ride and will continue to excel ourselves, our organization and our industry. I do not post nearly as much as I use to, mainly because who wants to hear how we did it 8+ years ago

. However, I try to chime in when it is pertinent. I will no longer be in the members area but you can always reach me trough PM, email, cell or the Gran Quartz room.

Brian, your workshop was my first one ever as well. Since we first met you have always treated me like you had known me a long time. Thanks for all of the work you have done to build this organization to where it is now. Those will be big shoes to fill as well.

Hey Brian, you have been always been a great champion for the SFA, always wearing its colors proudly and willing to tell everyone about the organization and what it means and should mean to anyone in the stone industry.j
You have done a great job with the trade show planning, organizing and execution. You had an answer for any question that was brought up or immediately knew where to go to get the answer. Your tireless service was instrumental in the image the SFA portrayed at the shows.
Thank you for your service!

Christina's role with the SFA has not changed. She will still be working the booth at the trade shows and helping out the directors as needed. As for me, I will be around as well, on the site I will be active on the trade show committee and at the shows, just wearing a different shirt

.
Carmine
I am going to hold you to that. Just went to one last weekend

Brian - Thanks for your help and all the hours you have given the SFA and the industry. I am still grateful for my first meeting with you to show me how to template with the LT55. That and the tremendous amount of friendship both within the SFA and out of the SFA. Thank you so very much.
