The torch has been passed. Joey has been voted in and is now the executive director.

It’s been fun, challenging, and a learning experience leading an amazing team of individuals that are all volunteering to better our industry.

Joey is ready to take us all to the next level!

Congrats Joey on the new appointment. For those that don't know how this works in the SFA.....Joey missed a meeting and as such "volunteered" since it was a unanimous vote. :roflmao:

Thanks for the kind words!

Mike Dean has been a great Executive Director and has really positioned the SFA on a strong and positive path. Plus he's a really great guy. He's laid out an example and foundation that will make my involvement going forward much easier. But it is a shame that he is a Canadian and doesn't recognize Rush as the greatest band of all time. Nobody's perfect, I guess.

To answer Dave's question: Yes, if anyone happens to be in an Italian gelateria with me, I'll be happy to pick up the tab.
