Outstanding job! Considering the time frames that you were given to work, even better! Did you ever come up with a name for this onyx? It looks like it might be Onyx Red. Just something to add to your notes and procedure (mine too).

Could be, but most of the onyx we have vary wildly from block to block, with the exception of White Onyx. I had seen a block here about 2 years ago that was uncharacteristically red/orang in coloration. Then the next one right after it was a pale yellow.

Jaren, its funny you say 2 years ago you saw that block that was reddish...because this job was installed about 2 years ago. Maybe same quarry?
