Staining Quartzite
Need some help! we have recently installed some Macaubus Quartzite, did our usual sealing. But after a week it seems everything leaves marks on it? some olive oil was spilled on it and seeped into it. Just a mess? anybody used this before? is there a way to "pull out the stains" and what is the right sealer for this stuff ](./images/smilies/eusa_wall.gif)

Re: Staining Quartzite
Try some Mangia Machia (a Bellinzoni product sold by many tooling suppliers, Granquartz has for $14.95) it hasn't let me down yet.

Re: Staining Quartzite
Proseal from Tenax is what I would use.

Re: Staining Quartzite
just to clarify - use the mangia mancha to remove the stain first and then use the sealer to keep it from happening again. you probably figured that out, but it is easier to say it now than to fix it if you tried it the other way around.

Re: Staining Quartzite
I just reread your original post, and realized that you are a fabricator - when I read the first time I assumed (without looking) that you were a homeowner who might not know better. sorry for stating the obvious

I had a stain on same material but it was from coffee
Had to use Bellinzoni Mangia Macchia, we had to treated more than once so be patience
What kind of sealer did you used?
