Showed Angie the video last night, she asked how long that would take ?

My guess was, working 40 hours a week, it would take 8 weeks, minimum 320 hours .

From design to finish was about 6 months total time, with about 5 months actual fab time. I basically worked on it a couple hours after work each day with a full day on Saturdays. Probably about 15 hours a week. So, your calculation of 320 hours is pretty close, I think.

Thanks to everyone for the kind words, I'm glad you enjoyed it. And thanks to Jean for posting it to this forum.

If you are getting a little burned out dealing with the day to day industry stuff, I'd suggest that you find yourself a block or even slabs of anything and just create something that YOU want. There are guys (and gals) here in the SFA that have amazing skills. It would be interesting to see some of the things that could come out of the SFA.

As far as my piece - You have the skills, BUT do you have the PATIENCE? (insert evil laughing here)
