SINKITS
We recently transitioned to the sinkit sink clip system. I am getting a huge backlash from installers saying they just dont work. We still offer 2cm granite vanities to some builders and will always have 2cm quartz. Anyone else having issues with this system?

Re: SINKITS
Hello David. Are the holes being drilled to a depth of at least 1/2"?
Sinkits will not work with any thing less than 1/2" hole.
The hole must be 1/4" diameter as well, a 6mm is to small and 7mm is to big, especially for 2cm.
It is also very important that the pre-load tab is bent down prior to inserting.
It is also very important that the hole be placed 3/4" from the outer edge of the sink rim, no less.

Re: SINKITS
David,
a lot of people here use this system including us,and I have yet to see any complaints like this. i would follow Kevin's advice and just make sure every step is being followed the way it should be.

Re: SINKITS
We have used 1000s of sink-its with no issue. i would check up on the installers to see they are following proper protocols and procedures.

Re: SINKITS
I was having problems with the holes being too big. I bought an apex brand bit from gct and that solved the problem.

Re: SINKITS
We do mostly 3cm but love the sinkits. They are so must faster to install and takes just a minute to machine the holes. We drill to about 5/8 in 3cm.

Re: SINKITS
It's the only thing we have used for a few years 2cm or 3cm with no problems.
I thought they were dummy proof?
Do as others suggested and check they are doing it properly.
