Caesarstone headaches
We have recently been fabricating more and more caesarstone and not only is it a pain to fabricate but no matter how much protection we use (respirators) we still get these crazy headaches from the lingering dust it produces, the granite never was an issue. We do as much as possible wet but that only gets us so far. Does anyone else have these problems?

Re: Caesarstone headaches
Dude you have to polish that wet. You can't get it to shine without water. It just burns.

Of course it's polished wet we don't have machines to do sinks so we do all that by hand with grinders

Re: Caesarstone headaches
Fully wet shop here with dust mask's when fabricating ESS Engineered solid surface even in wet shop !.
we were still getting nausea and a red rash on skin on several different fabricators and occasional headache.
We stopped fabricating ESS here about 7 years ago It should only be fabricated on CNC equipment were people do not come in contact with slurry and fumes. BUT that is just my personal Opinion I have no facts to back it up only what I saw and experienced.
On Job-site when cutting ESS dry it is a full respirator and shop vacuum

When we do have to cut it dry for some reason or if the bridge saw operators (wet) are cutting more than a few slabs, they all have their own respirators. We use these with P100 multi contaminant cartridges:
