The houses all have to have heat up here. Drywallers need it

We use a turbo heater. I hate the smell of them but we only use them when we have to which is not very often.

You obviously are not throwing a big enough hissy-fit.

Be sure to add in a lot of phrases about seam integrity, proper adhesion, warranty requirements etc... It will make it seem like we care more about the final product than our personal comfort.

You obviously are not throwing a big enough hissy-fit.You do that right, the builder will heat the place just to not hear you again. Were you never a teenager?

Lost a few accounts back in the 70's & 80's because of this, but it was worth it by the late 80's all the builders were trained to have heat.

All of you please keep in mind where Troy is located. South Mississippi. Cold there is anything below 50 degrees.

Why would it make a difference where he's located? If heat is needed someone has to supply it. Around here it's the builders responsibility to have the building ready for the subs.

It was only a joke about what they perceive as cold.

I don't know of an electric heater that would make a difference in a cold house. We use propane torpedo heaters indoors all the time. They are noisy but don't stink like the kerosene/diesel fuel ones. A 20lb propane tank would last 3-4 hours and heat an entire kitchen quickly. You will also need 120v electric for the ignition and fan.

Especially a 120V (small) heater.
