super white quartzite

I have a customer that keeps getting water rings/etched rings on their super white quartzite island top. The first time it happened, I polished then out and sealed the top with DuPont Bulletproof. A month later, more rings that I need to polish out. Is there a better sealer out there for super white quartzite? How could city water etch the surface?

I have always felt this stone is classified wrong. This stone is closer to a marble then anything else.

I don't think there is much to be done about the etching in terms of using a sealer. I could be wrong, others may have comment. I think the best practice is to treat in like a marble in terms of daily care, avoid standing water and the like.

Super White is better classified as a dolomitic marble. It will etch and scratch just like marble. No sealer will stop this from occurring.

It is a marble. Brush it or hone it. Less problems. Although if your custy is cool with letting it develop a patina they will like it better in the long run. It is an awesome stone

You could buy some tenax etch remover and give it to them . Show them how to use it .
It's pretty quick and easy to get rings out .
