Nambian White Marble

Can anyone help I've got a seam on this Namibian White Marble that has turning grey on the edges I have no idea what to do. Ive used poltus remover and surface polished it down and I cant get it out.

What was done here the installer seamed both pieces with quick water clear knife grade and after about 1 minute it started to bleed into both sides of the marble like I said earlier I surface polished the material as low as I could go and also used poltus treatment 3 times and used a torch thinking it would some how dry the material all with no success.

I forgot to mention there is a cabinet on the left and right side so you cant simply cut the seam and start over.

Since you said you can't jsut cut seam and start over, try a poultice of 40% peroxide mixed with powder (baby powder - white). You will likely get some etching but you can surface polish that afterwards.

How long should I leave the peroxide and baby powder application on there and do you cover it with plastic and tape on the edges like the mangia macchia poltus?

Did your installer seal the edges of the seam before he glued it up? If not, that is where the problem likely started.

make sure it is the talc baby powder and not the cornstarch powder ( cornstarch is difficult to make into a paste - it is more like silly putty or rubber when you try to mix it

)

He did not seal the seems before putting them together he just applied the Quick water clear knife grade and put them together.

We always seal the edges of white marble seams before gluing to keep the chemicals from bleeding into the stone. It looks like that is what has happened.
