Reccomended Marble router feeds speeds for CNC

Hi Guys

can anybody advise me on feeds and speeds for an electroplated marble router 17mm x 55mm.
2cm thick

its been that long since we have done a sink cut out in marble we have changed all computers and changed from Thibaut CNCs to Intermac losing any info we had on tooling before.

will be running on a Intermac master 53


any advise would be a great help

Just look up what brand tool you have. Adi has a cnc catalog that shows speeds for all their tooling

Personally, I'd just do some trial and error on some offcuts. We run our 20mm diamond mills at 6000 RPM and 500mm/m feed rate for engineered stone on our Intermac Jet CT, so perhaps set up with some similar settings and adjust them if the machine is working too hard or easily.

I typically run through our engineered granite at 50-75% feed rate of the 500, and 110% spindle speed, so the actual numbers would be more like 375 feed rate vs 6600rpm, but it depends on the stone and I have very limited experience working marble.

Which tooling? You should be able to get that info from your distributor. If not, change your distributor

thats the problem i've got, its an old tool out of the tool closet was purchased before my time here i think its a nicolai diamant , ive set up it @ 800mm/min / 6500 rpm cutting nice pulling 3 amps.

for marble its really hard material called "brown fantasy" here in UK not sure of origin though

Fantasy brown is usually a Dolomite marble , we do those kind of material with sintered diamond tooling all day every day.
No need to change for electroplated tools.

I have to add that it is often mistaken with quartzite to.

I always used cnc granite tools on all marbles, never had any issues.
