Hi Guys,
I am building an outdoor kitchen with countertops at my cottage ! Can you please tell me difference between three? And which would be best for remodeling in terms of cost & quality?

Re: Difference between Granite, Quartz and Marble.
Granite and marble are natural stone with "granite" encompassing a wide variety of different stone types suitable for countertops.
Marble is a soft and porous stone that does not make a durable surface for food prep.
"Quartz" typically refers to a man made product that is a petrochemical based resin with quartz chips and other inclusions selected for their appearance. Quartz products fade quickly in the sun.
Your best option, by far, is one of the popular "granite" colors. Talk to a fabricator.

If you're looking for a dark material, a very popular selection in our market is Black Pearl Brushed or Polished.

Go visit several fabricators and take the advice of somebody that know what they are talking about.
