Help with Montresor Luna 740
We have a 2005 Montresor Luna 740 that we haven't used for a couple years because we lost our operator and we don't have any internal knowledge on how to run the damn thing. We'd like to put it back in service but we need help dialing it in and learning how to run it. I'm wondering if anyone knows of someone who could help us out. We'd of course pay for time and travel. Thanks!

Re: Help with Montresor Luna 740
The machine is not too crazy complicated to run. You should be able to figure out the basics enough to be dangerous and then we can fill in the rest of your knowledge base as you go.
If your willing to pay to have someone come out to train you, I would suggest joining as a member and getting into the members area. People are more willing to help with technical aspects there than they are here in the general forum. The membership is only $100 a year which is a bargain compared to paying someone to fly to your place to train you.

HI! Good advice thanks. Can you explain what you mean by "joining as a member for 100.00?" Do you mean here on the SFA? Is there a board/area where you can just go for straight technical info that is not here on general? Thanks in advance!

Re: Help with Montresor Luna 740
My suggestion would be first to call Arthur Plicht (AMC Stone). Arthur knows more about the technical end of Luna 740's than anyone else in the country. His number Is 917-407-5451. He can check the machine and get you running. Art is not an operator however, but an ME and EE. He can probably suiggest an operator to help you for a few days. I brought Montresor to North America and Arthur did all the set ups.
