This firm represents Bruskin International LLC, doing business as “Belstone,” in connection with intellectual property matters.



Belstone is a family owned and operated business started in 1982, and now a leading innovator and manufacturer in the supply of finishes, furniture, and fixtures for hospitality and multi-family housing projects. Through painstaking effort, Belstone’s research and development team successfully developed a revolutionary patent pending agglomerate surface product known as DodiTM. The agglomerates used in DodiTM include a variety of proprietary glass and glass/quartz blends, each of which has been thoroughly tested to ensure it provides all of the beauty and strength of engineered quartz with none of the costly drawbacks.



We have been made aware of certain quartz manufacturing suppliers in the People’s Republic of China that have infringed on Belstone’s intellectual property rights by attempting to copy the patent pending DodiTM product and induce U.S. companies to import the knock-offs.

Please be advised that Bruskin is currently monitoring all import shipments coming into the U.S. that may infringe the DodiTM IP. These shipments are being logged for further investigation and follow-up. Any unauthorized import, export, sale, offer to sell, or use of a knock-off version of the DodiTM product will be pursued aggressively.

I have seen Belstone cut too size specified on some projects. We offered Silestone on one of them a couple of years ago (not cut to size) and got the job. Never heard of Dodi.

No I cut countertops for our general area. Same as almost everyone here. I'm not worried its just strange they have my email address.

That being said every quartz supplier seems to have the same basic colours eh?

If MSI is looking at importing containers of ES with glass as an aggregate then I assume they would have done all the required checks on possible patent infringement. A company as large as that would have a lot to lose if they are eventually found liable of violating a patent.
