S.O.S Gritty/Sandy Granite

Good afternoon,

We recently bought a bad level A bundle. At every installation the clients are complaining about the material being sandy.
We clean it and seal it and then within minuets it is sandy again.

It's not resin filled and we bought it under the name Verona....but we all know how names are lost.

We've had other Verona "unfilled" slabs and there were no issues.

So my question is....

Has anyone had this problem and found a product I can buy aftermarket to remedy this issue otherwise it's a kitchen replacement?

Your problem is most likely efflorescence and will eventually go away.

For future jobs, pressure wash the pieces after fabrication is complete and it will get rid of most of it before it leaves the shop.
