Sealing Engineered Quartz

Hello everyone,

Wanted to know if anyone is sealing engineered stone these days
I recently had a customer contact me expressing their frustration with how their MSI Q (not surprised) was staining.
I reached out to MSI who assumed this customer must be very messy, and that the Quartz shouldn't be staining easily.
My client insists that it is very easily stained, things like Ice Tea that sat for just minutes maybe.
I did some research and found that Quartz can be sealed but NOT with common penetrating sealers. There is a product recommended called ioSeal.
Has anyone used this before that can provide some feedback? Thinking if we should start sealing quartz now too..

Michael,

this product from Tenax is easily applied and you can give this can to HO for convenience. Sad truth about quartz from MSI as we all know.

The Tenax Quartz Toner is an enhancing sealer for engineered stone so make sure to test this before using and make sure your customer likes the "enhancement" it can give on some colors.

Otherwise, Tenax also has Quartz Sheild that is a sealer for engineered stone without any enhancement effects.
