I want to buy 5 axis saw and CNC . I have 2 offers - one from Breton the other one from Park.
Specs and price are really similar . Do you guys any preference or expirience one or the or the other one ?
Breton 5 axis - Genya has cool addon - rocket spindle - it add extra spindle that has 14 000 RPM.
It has vacuum pods to move pcs -but I heard that there is a problem with them .
Breton CNC will be NC300 with robocup - but the same I heard there is a problem with robocup system .
Park will be Voyager XP Saw and TITAN CNC .
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Re: Breton vs Park Industries
Both companies are first rate and represented by good people. There are many here that own both manufacturers' equipment. That said it always boils down to relationships for me.
The only main difference to me personally is the country of manufacture and the speed to which they get you back up an running.
I have owned Park equipment for over 20 years, all complaints that I've had were met with quick response. I even had them buy a seat on an a Delta flight to get me a warranted replacement spindle for my CNC and picked it up the same day that I called them. We were up and back running within 24 hours.

I don't think you can go wrong with either. They both service some massive shops across the country. The majority of the problems you encounter will most likely stem from operator error, especially if you are new to automation. Like Dave said, availability of parts to minimize downtime is something you will want to consider. Depth of training is another factor to look at. You're going to want to make sure that it's fairly easy to train new hire operators.

Re: Breton vs Park Industries
I have recently looked at Breton and have considerable experience as an existing Park customers. For service my expectation is that almost any problem can be diagnosed remotely and I can have a part the next day. I believe this would be true for both companies for the vast majority of problems.
The Breton machines offer more functionality than the Park equipment so, assuming the Breton features work, you're likely getting more for your money from Breton. The only way to determine this is to visit actual users of the specific equipment and talk to the operators. I have been visiting sites of CNC saws the last few months and will be making a trip soon to see a Genya as I was impressed with what it does (assuming it works as advertised).
One note of US manufactured vs. most European machinery options; the Euro machines almost all have guarding that meets the CE standard which requires an electrically interlocked physical barrier enclosing the work envelope of the machine whenever automated machine motion is enabled. USA code does not have the same requirement so guarding is much less intrusive. Given the expense of those guards to the OEM I would expect a US made machine to be cheaper.
I saw a new Euro saw installed without the supplied guarding and with the electrical interlocks jumpered out. Personally I would never do that as I believe it exposes the business owner to significant personal liability in the event of an injury.

Re: Breton vs Park Industries
I saw a Thibaut in operation and was very impressed. Additionally, here in St. Cloud there is a large monument business that has several Thibaut machines and they are very happy with the performance and support. I got a lot more interested in the Thibaut after visiting them.
The jig saw works very well and it eliminates the need to separate parts to complete a cut.
Both the Breton and the Thibaut do not "super plunge" so there is almost no bed maintenance.
