im not a "true" member here (i live and work in sweden) and dont want to risk getting banned for promoting/selling my products on this forum.

anyway,
we showed this saw together with a rail guided polisher at the stonetec show (germany) last week and had a great booth buzz.

Blue Ripper, its built tough. We used one for almost a year before investing in a bridge-saw. Never let us down.

My Blue Ripper arrived today. Man that thing is built like a tank! I can see why people keep them around even after they get a bridge saw. Its a great backup and overflow saw.

We cut our first slab with our new Blue Ripper Sr today. The material was Giallo Ornimental and we used all 60 sf of the slab. We only had the stock blade which is more of a marble blade and we had to dress it a few times. However, the saw did good job and cut at a good steady pace. I will be getting a new blade for granite which Im sure will work even better

The kitchen was a "U" shape with a raised "L" bar, two small slabs on each side of the range and back-splashes. We started cutting about 9am and was finished by lunch. After lunch we polish all the edges and finished/mounted the sink. We will go to the job in the morning and do the installation.

I guess it goes back to "Its the the motion of the ocean not the size" Your CNC is fixed in one spot. I can take my rails all over town and do my business

Make sure you wrap those rails up so nothing gets on them when your doing your business all around town

Man, speaking of wraping, I kinda abuse my rails a lot. From now on, I'll try to take good care of it. Just found out the other day, these rails cost an arm and a leg.

Deepwater, did you say you bring the saw with you? So you fabricate at jobsite too? If so, isn't the saw way toooooo heavy? I'm only use the junior, and after a while the saw (Makita) comes loose. When it does, cuts are not straight any more, even for a seam cut (2').
