I've been hearing a lot about these was wondering what you guys that may have tried them think? We run everything on the c.n.c. up to the polish wheels and let the polishers take it from there. I was wondering in this case would it be a 3 step or maybe fewer?

Re: 3 Step Pads
You might be going backwards a bit with the number 1 depending on how your metals are set up.
I would try 2, 3 and take a look.

Re: 3 Step Pads
Yes we run all the metals then start on #2 to 3 so far the Terminators have been the best at popping dark colors.

Re: 3 Step Pads
After seeing 3 step pads in action at Cam's workshop, BraxtonBragg had a special on their 3 steps- buy 4 sets and get a free polisher- I have been using theirs'. they are thick and seem to work really well.

I cut a granite top slide-in cutout to accommodate a freestanding range the other day, about a 1/4 off each side. I got all the sawmarks out with the grinder, hit it with a 50 grit and went to the three-step pads and the polished sides turned out great.
