Re: comadulli vs montresor
Both are excellent machines that are at the top tier in quality and performance.
The Montresor is basically utilizes all electric, while the Commundulli uses electric and hydraulic to operate.
You have a choice between the 2 of the best line machines in the industry, quite an enviable position.

Re: comadulli vs montresor
My old shop was Montresor heavy, we had 3. A Lara 80, a Luna 740, and a Lola 400. My new shop has an Omega 100. I was at the old shop for 4 and a half years and have only been at the new one for a month. The Montresors were able to get a perfect polish on all edgework as long as you maintain the machine. The service is spectacular. I could call anytime before noon (EST) and talk to Patrick who would help us with any problems. We had a tech (either Luciano or Guildo) come once a year for a PM.
I have nothing but positive things to say about Montresor (both the people and the machines)
From what I have seen with the Omega, it appears to be a good machine as well. I don't know enough about it yet. Bullnose comes out very well, as does flat polish. However, I am not sure if it is just ours or not, but the flat polish still needs to be broken on the top and bottom, the Montesors have heads to do that in one pass.
You can get about 1 kitchen per hour through either one. (Standard kitchen in both Detroit and Connecticut is about 45-55sf)
Like Dan said, you probably cannot go wrong with either. I am a bit partial to Montresor because my relationship with them, but I have not had any interaction with Comandulli yet.

Re: comadulli vs montresor
Let me get the disclaimer out of the way - I sell Montresor machines, and I have also had the opportunity to sell Comandulli. Both are excellent companies who deserve the respect they have in the industry. Unless Comandulli has made some recent changes that I am not aware of, there are some substantial differences. I was going to point out some of the major ones, in fact I started to list them, but backed off. I feel uncomfortable doing that here. This is a site for information, not sales pitches. Please feel free to call me however.
They are two great machines and companies. No one ever made a fatal decision choosing one over the other. If used properly, either one can be a great money maker.

Re: comadulli vs montresor
John, thanks for curbing your instinct to sell in this thread. You are certainly welcome to post in the Salem Guardian room anything you wish to say about the Montresor, sell away, that is what they were meant for Sponsor Use.
