Are there any granites similar in color?

Most of these stones vary widely from lot to lot.

Zodiac Quartz has a look alike but it doesn't really look like it? If the customer is looking for carrara then I don't thin anything but carrara will do.

Dan, couldn't have said it better myself. No. We get asked this all the time. White marble is marble, granite is granite. Super white, aka vermont white is widely being sold as a granite, some think its a quartzite. I personally belive that it is a serpentine. And a rather soft serpentine at that. It etches fairly easily. I tested with a little vinegar. But I do think its a killer material.

"similar" is a very subjective word - don't you think? Plus he said color not structure.

Just making suggestions.

You never know what will make the customer happy until they see it.

I have had customers go into the warehouse insisting they want a dark stone and pick out a Giallo instead.

People are nuts these days is the only thing that is consistant.
