SFA on a smart phone

Since I spend more time on my phone than the laptop, I'm hoping to find an app to access the forum. Does anyone here have smartphone app to access the SFA forum, such as Tapatalk? I can use the browser, but it's not as easy to use.

Re: SFA on a smart phone
Here is how another user fixed the java error. (from the comments on the android market for the software)
Java Error....Edit: Never mind, fixed when I removed the forum and added it again. If it still doesn't work add the whole address of the index. Example: HTTP://forums.******.com/index.php Finally an app that doesn't require forum plugins. I have no idea why they even started that but your got it right first off, now there alot of bugs that need to be worked out. Specifically login as some forums require login first. But overall great start and I'm able to open most sites, keep up the good work!

Re: SFA on a smart phone
So, my first complaint with this app is not being able to reply to private messages or create new ones. The second is no smileys.

Re: SFA on a smart phone
Why do you need an app to view the site on a smart phone? I don't have any issues viewing full pages or viewing pictures as it is. I tried Tapatalk, and hated the format. Am I missing something?

Re: SFA on a smart phone
Using the browser on the Droid is decent but is a bit of a pain (for me) to use on forums. To keep the text size large enough to read means that I have too scroll back and forth across the screen to read. To minimize the browser to fit the screen means I can't read the text without cheaters (although I'm needing reading glasses). Or, the buttons are too small to click on with my finger.
So, the forum apps, although not as robust as a browser window, are designed (or should be) to be smart phone friendly.

Re: SFA on a smart phone
You can change the default text size that the browser zooms to when you double-tap the screen. Doing it this way also formats the text so that it fits withing the width of the screen. No need to manually pinch and zoom. My eyes aren't so good, but I can see the text fine this way.
