Stone Expo Vegas or coverings

Hi guys
I'm a stone fabricator, im located outside of USA and I'd like to assist a either the show in vegas or to coverings
Which one is better for SF?

Both shows will be busy and we always welcome all the help we can get at either show. The choice is your's, Las Vegas (Expo) or Atlanta (Coverings).

Coverings is larger and better attended.

StonExpo is usually more countertop fabrication oriented.

Coverings is above plus flooring, etc. Much bigger due to the flooring segment.

Atlanta vs Las Vegas

If I were traveling from overseas to one US stone show, I would pick Vegas over Atlanta. Now, Orlando and Vegas could be a toss up. Las Vegas is a very dynamic place to experience, at least once in your life.

Traditionally, there will be more slab suppliers in Atlanta @ Coverings.

The SFA will have a Cage @ both shows, so there should be plenty of fabrication work buzzing throughout both shows, as Mike Dean has arranged full schedules of demonstrations at each show.

We always welcome a new face at either show, especially when accompanied by an offer to pitch in and help.

I typically look at Expo being more fabrication equipment and supplies and Coverings being more material oriented, so what are you hoping to see? If its material suppliers, than definetly Coverings. If not material, than I would pick Expo especially with it in Vegas

Definitely I'll go to Vegas as a stone fabricator I'm more interested in learning from fabricators who are in a more advanced market than mine

In My country we don't have stone Cnc's I think the newest bridge saw is the one that I own which is a Gmm tecna 2005

Vegas will be a perfect opportunity

If your purpose is to purchase machinery, why not contact the machinery companies and see who is running at Expo and make arrangements to meet the others at their facilities while you are in the USA.

If you come to coverings in Atlanta, you are welcome to come by my shop. I am about 45 minutes away from where Coverings will be held. My wife is a Colombiana from Chinchina (near Manizales). Atlanta is a market of about 5 million people. We have a CNC/Sawjet shop.

I will also be in Las Vegas speaking at a few of the Seminars. If you go there, look me up if you would like to talk.
