William White and I have worked together since July 1992. After 22 years of service with me, William is leaving the industry to return to his childhood home in South Dakota.
Early on, William was the shop foreman and cabinet maker for my previous business Quality Kitchens. When we (William & I) made the decision to venture into the Stone Business, William was the driving force that led Counter Solutions to be one of the pioneers in the digital age. William & I made the decision together to purchase Northwood's very first CNC router, NW 138 #001 & then the first Northwood water jet produced. Every decision I have made for Counter Solutions, William has been there with me.
William White has not only been my righthand as Plant Manager of Counter Solutions, but also, as most of you know, been a leader nationwide in our industry.
Counter Solutions wishes him much success as he embarks on a new adventure in life.

William White......you will be missed! I Love You ...brother!

I want too thank Mike Yates for the opportunity and for the chance to travel and learn.
After 22 years, your also my friend and a great boss to work for.

I can be a bit of a packrat at times. I was cleaning my office up and came across I believe to be the
the first Stone World magazine I recieved and Stone Magazine previewing the first Stone Expo
we attended in Kansas City Mo in Nov of 2000. I will have to say we ( Counter Solutions and the industry in general )
have come a long way in 14 years.

I want to thank the SFA and its members for helping us and giving us a place to talk to others and learn.
The years before joining the SFA, I knew two other shops, one never shared anything and the other knew about as much as I did. I learned by mistakes and just blind luck sometimes. Tradeshows helped a lot. When we joined the SFA, I learned so much just by reading and sharing info. That made my job easier. My first workshop was at Mr Hannah's shop. I was amazed at how clean and nice it was. I meet people there and the exchange of ideas was great. The ability to ask the question, how do you do this and get 5 different responses that all worked, was cool and helpful.
All the workshops I have attended, I learned something I could use and incorporate in the shop.

My coworkers at Counter Solutions, the top three in the shop have worked with me for 10 years now, and
are always ready for the next project and deadline. They made my job as a Shop foreman easier.
I enjoyed working with all my coworkers here, without them, you don't have a shop or production.
To all my friends in the SFA, you are all class acts in my book and I am proud to count you as my friends.
