Getting ready to take delivery of 2 Sprinters. Am I correct that most here are averaging around 20mpg loaded? Ours are to be longest single wheel with tallest roof option. 6cyl models

Re: Most popular topic again
We have 2003 sprinter 140 high roof 2500 and I would have to beat it hard to get down to 20 MPG .
however I do have a compression leak at injector on number 1 so i'm down there around 20 right now probably below .

Make sure you get the 170" ext. They are 18 inches longer for about 1000 dollars more.
You should get 22ish empty and 17ish loaded.

Re: Most popular topic again
on this review they only got 11 MPG out of V6 diesel . I don't know how they could manage to only get 11 mpg out of a sprinter diesel. The difference maybe the V6 diesel .
I am not a fan of any double breasted diesel for on-road applications unless its a big V CAT for heavy hauling

I would pay attention to fuel millage with the V-6 sprinters should be easy enough to catch the one who is stomping on the hammer .
V diesel's make a lot of torque and will cost you $$$$ if you stomp on the hammer.
