Table Layout

Hello

We are about to cut holes in our North Wood cnc tables to start running hard stops. I have ordered the reference stops from blick with a 12mm pin . Anybody have a table layout I could steal? I used to run CMS Brembana Max and want to lay out something similar to that. If we do it right I can start adding the minimum for stock removal on position 0 and skip finger bits all together. Any info you have would help.

Call robbie at NW. I think he ran a groove in a table as a positive 0,0 line and may have the bit you can borrow. I don't think holes will be very flexible as they will be 1" too long for whatever piece you want to put on the table.

I think Mike Dean also did this to his table. Maybe he will chime in on how it is working out for him.

We had factory grooves cut on the sides and hang the hard stops over the front and back.

Yeah like i said I have ran CMS machines for years. I dont want to be locked into edges of table since we are always loading the whole table all the time. I will always need a piece in the center.
