Advice for Showroom Wall Display
We are in the process of (slowly) building our showroom. Most of it is full stone walls as we are a small shop with limited space. However, we would like a wall with larger (maybe 12" x 24") samples that can be exchanged. Are there displays/racking such as the ones pictured, available pre-fabricated that we can install? Any suggestions?

This is what Antolini has in Brazil:
It was suspended with wire. Attached on the back with plates and adhesive.

Re: Advice for Showroom Wall Display
We used simple & cheap slat wall made out of wood 1 x in our showroom. Not sexy but it works.

I can tell you that the SYSTEM with the wires is EXPENSIVE. You can do it yourself with parts from any box store.
I did stumble across this place that has a lot of stuff that we use at a great price.
www.outwater.com the sell backlighting components, display, cabinet lighting, trim strips for tile, slat wall.

Re: Advice for Showroom Wall Display
The display in the OP looks like slat wall with some metal standoffs. I believe you can get those or something similar from CR Lawrence.

Re: Advice for Showroom Wall Display
Monarch makes these extrusions you can mount on the wall. I have had a few customers use the Keep-nut anchors so you do not see any exposed hardware. I could not find a picture but it does look pretty slick. The "z clip" style mount makes it really easy for customers to take the samples on and off the wall.
A company called MBS standoffs makes the visible standoffs I saw earlier in the thread. They are used a lot in the sign industry.
