After an exhaustive search we have found a really amazing mill bit for quartzite. Its the G5 mill bit from Terminator. It flies through everything even Taj Mahahal without hardly making any noise. Plus the life is amazing! If anyone is looking for a bit give it a try.

*I have not been compensated in any way for this endorsement. No free product, no side deal, no promotional consideration. I was really impressed so I thought I would let others know!

Matt,
What depth per pass and feed rate can you run this bit thru Taj? thru typical granite?

I should expand/clarify... I assume this is an incremental bit/tip for on the saw?

The bit he is referring to is the Terminator G5 finger bits nor CNC routers. It is not an incremental bit. In his scenario and all my customers we are using it in one pass at 5-6”/min at 3500 RPM

Eric, Do those come in smaller diameters for my little router? Like 15mm or so?

Is this G5 finger bit good for all materials or just really hard stone?

It works very well on all materials. Runs quiet and fast.
