Just got this email with a suspicious attachment. We don't sell slabs or blocks. We're fabricators.

The company in Hertfordshire looks legit (Neolith Distributor, etc), so I sent them a screen shot of the post and a little background about how the Reverend has plagued the US stone industry. This will give them a chance to look into the email and take whatever action they need to. Or, if they are actually a scam with a legit looking website, they'll at least know they have failed.

The person sending the email is using identity theft from the company. So the email is a scam, but the company is unfortunately caught up by the scammer using their name. Here was their reply:

Hello Jason, thanks for your email

Yes, we are aware of the situation, we have had contacts from all sort of people who are not in our contacts list
Our IT department is looking into the matter to try and stop these emails from being sent.

The email address sending these emails is completely unrelated to us, so it’s a complete identity theft!
