Great workshop, great sponsors and great members! How could anyone ask for more? I urge everyone (who can) to get to Bangor Maine for the August workshop.

I second the comments above. Mark, thanks for the 2 classes that reminded many of us (well , me for sure) of some of the things that we need to do to run profitable businesses. Now, time to write that plan. . . . .
Thanks for a great time.

Ditto to all of the above. We have come home motivated to re-structure, plan, and organize our company. Progress has begun. Thanks to all of the sponsors, Prem & Mark for hosting us as well as providing much needed coffee and great food. And a special shout out to the folks at Cosentino for going out of their way and returning out laptop to us!

Re: Seattle Workshop Was Great!
Lisa said it all, and I'll say a little more... The whole experience was phenomenal, and I dont think we couldve crammed any more info into the few days we were there. Thank you so much to all of the people that created the SFA and continue to put on workshops like that, and to all the new friends we made, see you soon!!

I'm curious to hear the feedback on MArk's Corian presentation. Anyone jumping in or what?

Re: Seattle Workshop Was Great!
I missed that part of the workshop, was across the alley at Denali Rocks Slab Studio. Basically, Prem and Mark started doing solid surface to be able to attract all the work on some projects. Start up cost is minimal compared to stone ($4-5,000.00 but you can do it for a lot less) carbide wood tools is all you really need - I fabbed solid surface with a freind for going on 15 years and still fab it occasionally to keep some contractors satisfied and the work in house.
That was the thrust of Mark's SS presentation - ease of build, low cost to get started and helps you to diversify and satisfy clients needs. Did I miss anything?
