I would like to thank Mark Lauzon and Prem for hosting a great workshop! This past week the host held the 2nd annual Seattle workshop and it was a success as always!
Mark you and Prem did an awesome job and thank you for you hospitality and letting us get in the way of you making money for the couple of days!
Thanks also goes out to all of our sponsors, Gravity Sinks, CMS, NW , Braxton, GQ, Cyclone, Terminator, Scandavient, Salem, Defusco, LP, Helix, Cosentino, STT, Trition,Blick,Integra and Bonstone! They all had great info and gear there on display and running.
Heck Cosentino even thru a party for us at their facility with a live band as well. The give away was awesome! Congrats to our boy Trask who one the give away which was a all expense paid trip to Madrid Spain! Talk about awesome!
Again, great presentations, networking, live demos, and all and all good to put faces with names!
See you all next month in Bangor Maine at Matt Qualeys!

Great workshop, great sponsors and great members! How could anyone ask for more? I urge everyone (who can) to get to Bangor Maine for the August workshop.

I second the comments above. Mark, thanks for the 2 classes that reminded many of us (well , me for sure) of some of the things that we need to do to run profitable businesses. Now, time to write that plan. . . . .
Thanks for a great time.

Ditto to all of the above. We have come home motivated to re-structure, plan, and organize our company. Progress has begun. Thanks to all of the sponsors, Prem & Mark for hosting us as well as providing much needed coffee and great food. And a special shout out to the folks at Cosentino for going out of their way and returning out laptop to us!

Lisa said it all, and I'll say a little more... The whole experience was phenomenal, and I dont think we couldve crammed any more info into the few days we were there. Thank you so much to all of the people that created the SFA and continue to put on workshops like that, and to all the new friends we made, see you soon!!

I'm curious to hear the feedback on MArk's Corian presentation. Anyone jumping in or what?

I missed that part of the workshop, was across the alley at Denali Rocks Slab Studio. Basically, Prem and Mark started doing solid surface to be able to attract all the work on some projects. Start up cost is minimal compared to stone ($4-5,000.00 but you can do it for a lot less) carbide wood tools is all you really need - I fabbed solid surface with a freind for going on 15 years and still fab it occasionally to keep some contractors satisfied and the work in house.
That was the thrust of Mark's SS presentation - ease of build, low cost to get started and helps you to diversify and satisfy clients needs. Did I miss anything?
