Honed black granite

We were laying the job out with those white paint pens on some black honed granite, for the life of me we cannot get the white pen marks to come off the granite.weve tried acetone,paint thinner wet rags,the marks will not come off.
does any one have any suggestions?

try carb cleaner or slurry off the saw bed

Same thing
Let lacquer thinner soak on it for a couple min and then use slurry

Get you some of the gray 3M Scotch Brite pads. We use these for field touch-ups and they are great for blending uneven surface finish. Or get some honing powder and refinish the entire top.

Would those work on honed ubatuba? I have a kitchen we did about 10 years ago. Customer wants to clean it up a bit.

I use them on all honed materials. It's easier (for me) than breaking out a machine and powder, etc. You can clean up and blend small areas easily by hand. MY favorite "grit" is 3M number 7448 pads.

Thought i would let every one know a little elbow grease and some paint thinner got the paint marks finally out it took me about an hour and a half and a scotch bright pad.......
