some huge douchebag did this job. He actually charged the lady and said he did what he could. She wanted him to come back and fix it, but he wants $150 service charge to show up.

normally there is two sides to every story and I dont like to get involved, but there are no excuses for this one. This is the worst job I have ever seen.

not only did he use the wrong product, be he didnt even use the wrong product the right way.

this is a Travertine shower. It was hard to get pics so they may be dark, sorry. the biggest thing is that the grout, or caulking along the perimeter of the floor, which is missing,, WAS NEVER ADRESSED. its still missing.

the shower has not been used since the job was done 3 weeks ago, this is exactly how he left it. it still smells like varnish in there.

Im going to go back and do a few quick tests.

Im pretty sure its varnish, its not gonna be easy. I go help from another guy near me and he suggested Methylene Chloride. Not the safest thing to use but we talked about it and I think it might actually be a good idea.

after I do the tests, I'll work up a price and give it to her. If she goes for it then I'll go from there.

this lady is so distraught she didnt ask me if Icould fix it, she said "you HAVE to fix it, you absolutely have to fix it"
