Seam in vanity top

Wanted to see if anyone has done or recommends a seam through an undermount sink in a vanity top.

Just did one in a white marble vanity that was 128" long. Put the seam smack dab in the center of the sink, customer pushed us about the location wanting it there. My companies take, seams at least 8" min from sink edge opening.
Worked out and looked very nice but not our first choice.

An acrylic adhesive is best at the sink if you need to do it. Acrylics are slightly better in a wet location than the poly.
