Currently we are using a trailer with single sided racks on each side of the trailer.
We are looking at something like a Sprinter or a cubevan. My dumb question is how do you mount the racks on the side going over the wheel wells. Should I just be thinking about building some kinda frame underneath so that my racks have clearance over the wheel wells.?
Thanks

Re: New Install vehicle
If you raise the frame you will loose overall height restricting the size of pieces. I have been looking into the Nissan commercial vans. I like the leg room for it.

Re: New Install vehicle
The wheel wells do do not stick out too far. I think you could use a built in A frame or do as we do, use a Weha frame and load every job by the frame,(it is much quicker).

How do you get the pieces out when you load the whole frame? Can you still use a pull out ramp?Dan R. wrote:The wheel wells do do not stick out too far. I think you could use a built in A frame or do as we do, use a Weha frame and load every job by the frame,(it is much quicker).

We walk on the frame and wheel well. we don't use a ramp (the deck is only 18" from the ground).
